Menopause & HRT Center

Menopause is the point in a woman's life when menstruation ceases due to the natural decline in estrogen production. It is preceded by a stage called perimenopause in which a woman's menstrual cycle becomes less regular and symptoms occur (e.g., hot flashes). Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) may be used to reduce symptoms.
